1. Approval of the minutes for October 12:  The minutes were approved by unanimous consent.

2.  Information item: The chair reminds attendees that there are only two UGSC meetings in the fall term remaining after today, and that any new program proposals hoping to make the final fall UFC meeting must be presented at the 11/9 UGSC meeting. The first spring meeting will be on January 25.

 

3.  Dual Degree and Double-Major Policy Proposal (Menhart)

This proposal will supersede/sidestep the Faculty Handbook’s Appendix P, which requires dual-degree and double-major program to follow the standard faculty approval process for new programs.  Approved by unanimous consent.
