The minutes of the meeting of  Oct 9, 2003 are approved.

 

Mr. Twombly presented a draft curriculum for the Bachelor of Science degrees in (a) Business Administration (b) Business Administration and Applied Science.   Mr. Fisher invites the USC to suggest revisions.  He will present the USC with another draft at the first meeting of the Spring 04 semester.

No motions are proposed and no votes are taken.

 

Mr. M. Bauer presented an overview of revisions to the 100-level and 200-level Computer Science courses.   In support of those revisions, it is moved and seconded that:

The General Education Requirement in Computer Science be revised to read

Computer Science.  2 Credits  All student must take either CS-105, or CS-115, or CS-116, or CS-201, or Arch 125.

The motion passes unanimously.

 

The USC establishes a subcommittee to develop and propose revisions to the class-schedule template.  The Committee is chaired by Prof. Ucci, and includes G. Fasshauer (Appl. Math), J. Saletta (ECE), J. Waters (Registrar), and at least one representative of the Student Government Association.

 

At the meeting of Oct 9, 2003 it was moved and seconded that:

The USC institute a review (a) of the IPRO program and (b) of the IPRO general education requirement.  

The motion passes unanimously.

The USC establishes a subcommittee to supervise the reviews.  The members include Prof. J. LoCicero, Prof. M. Bauer, and Prof. F. Ruiz.
