1.   Minutes from 3/28/2023 meeting approved by unanimous consent.

2.   Information item: Policy clarification on Undergraduate Classroom Assistants  (Orgel)

·      Undergraduate Classroom Assistants may not grade students if they have a student-facing role. They may take attendance and mark completion of work, if properly supervised and supported considering the potential peer and social conflicts that can arise when other undergraduate students can influence or be influenced by these types of interactions. 

·      Undergraduate Marker Assistants must not have any type of student-facing role, they are not to identify themselves to the student's work that they mark.

 

3.   Second reading: New Degree Programs under Incubator Policy (Twombly)

     BS in Business and Information Technology

     BS in Economics and Cybersecurity

     BS in Economics and Policy

     BS in Business and Psychology

Approved 16-0.

4.   Revision to BS in Business Administration (Twombly) Approved by unanimous consent.

5.   Second reading: New Degree Program: Public Policy (Mansury) Approved 15-0.

6.   Adding ITM 313 to list of computer science courses within the STEM module of the Core Curriculum  (Trygstad) Continued until next (4/25) meeting.

7.  Elimination of BAC-ARCT/MS-ARCT coterminal program  (Nagle) Approved 12-0, contingent upon finding out which process the coterminal program was originally approved under.

8. Elimination of Psychology department's degree in Applied Analytics (Keating) Approved 16-0.

9.   HUM 250 and Core HUM 200-level Course Requirement   (Gorzkowski)

      The UGSC needs to know the status of the course as Writing Instruction Intensive before it can approve HUM 250 for the standalone, writing instruction intensive HUM 20x core curriculum requirement.

10.   Information item: Revision of MMAE 445 course description and prerequisites (Vural)
