Discussion to be initiated among UGSC, GSC and SGA on whether and how to make the semesters more even.
3c) WRT Co-Terminal Degrees: The process was rushed last year, and it turns out that financial aid issues are not resolved. If, in any term, less than 50% of a studentŐs coursework is undergraduate, the student loses undergraduate financial aid forever. Advisors cannot promise five years of financial aid; Camras scholarships also not guaranteed for five years;
advisors should also work with advisees to spread undergrad course work at the rate of 50% across as many semesters as possible through the fifth year.
3d) Implementing Distinctive Education: VPAA wants to work with UGSC to implement. Need a process to revise general education requirements.
Adjourn.
