Minutes of 8/28/2012 meeting are approved unanimously.

Old business 

1) Changes to CAEE BS programs. Capstone design course (3 hours) moves from IPRO to the major curricula. PHYS III will be removed from the major curricula to make room. No change in overall credit hours. Approved 11-2 with 2 abstaining.

-Torun (PHYS) stressed the importance of the topics in PHYS III for engineers. It was suggested that PHYS dept and Eng/Sci depts meet to discuss possible updates to the PHYS sequence.

2) Co-terminal BSBA/MPA degree approved unanimously.

New business

3) Discussion with Britt Burton-Freeman of IFSH on the possibility of designating FPE/FST 201 and FPE and FST 401 as natural science (N) or social science (S) for general education credit.

4) Presentation of IPRO 397 request for permanent designation as satisfying one of the two IPROs required in general education: J. Alexis, D. Gandara, T. Jacobius, M. Gosz. Vote to be taken 9/25.
