Informational Update from Jeff W. on the Automated Early warning email update, goes out every week on Tuesday mornings. Comments entered are seen by students and are auto logged into Navigate 360.
Early warning is now for all level courses.

Discussion of Proposed structure:
Members will be elected not appointed and reconstituted via Faculty Handbook

Katy Spink shared proposal for different UGSC structure
Draft Resolution on the Reapportionment of the UGSC
Discussion of what that structure might look like.
Discussion about how the new numbers were created, considering number of students and number of programs
Discussion of how divisions would fit in with the idea of AUs and the inertia of former departments
Any faculty can attend the UGSC – small subsection of voting members.
Straw poll taken about presenting this algorithm for proposing to UFC
1:08 Andy Howard Discussed possibility of sending an urgent request to UFC to reconstitute UGSC (this Friday)
1:13 Gabe Smith asked if UGSC is not convened does it impact HLC accreditation? Katy Spink mentioned that HLC is concerned about faculty governance – they care that we follow the rules we set up for ourselves. Jeff W second this.
